Three different types of book conservation treatments for books from a university's circulating library collection are shown. From left to right they portray a reback using buckram cloth on the spine onto which the original spine label was reattached, a new case in the quarter style using buckram on the spine and pastepaper to cover the boards, and a new case of buckram cloth onto which the original labels from the front cover and spine have been reattached.
